Daruma doll DIY 2

Morning friends. On Friday I

shared the Daruma Doll DIY with you. Now I would like to show you what I did with the batch. I decided to wrap a few up and give to my friends and family as Valentines.

I believe that the wrapping and presentation is just as important as the content of a gift. Customizing wrapping for a friend telsl them how special they are to you. I cut fabric squares for the wrapping and made my own gift tags.

Spending an extra few minutes making it really special is so much fun. And means so much to the recipient. It’s a win- win situation.

Hope you have a creative Monday,

Lelanie

Thanks to Charl from Kilroy was here for the lovely pictures.

Okay – now you have really sold me on this handmade thingy, which is not really me I might add. Love the tailor made gift wrap. That so works for me. I think I am going to have to set a week end aside and make a good few of these, to hand out as hostess gifts for my special friends when hanging out with them.

I am so glad that I could inspire you and bring you over to the ‘craft’ side. ;) I don’t craft nearly as much as I would like. But this was super fun. Craft don’t have to be stuffy and fuddy-duddy- they can be hip and trendy. :)
